Turnaround work does not fit the way most places rent. The scope changes, the schedule slips, and nobody wants to sign a six-month lease for a five-week outage or pay motel rates for the privilege of a forty-minute commute at each end of a twelve-hour shift.
Rivershire is a small riverside park at 2280 US-177, between Ponca City and Stillwater, minutes from Phillips 66 and the other industrial facilities in the area. Eighteen sites, all full hook-up, with rates that run nightly, weekly, or monthly so the stay can match the job rather than the other way around. When the job ends you text Jay and go — there is nothing to unwind.
It is a quiet park, and that is the point. Quiet hours run from 10 PM to 7 AM and are actually enforced, which matters more than anything else on this page if you are trying to sleep through an Oklahoma afternoon before a night shift.
The Practical Details
Room for the rig
Site 18 is the park's only pull-through — 45×12 ft on a concrete pad. Six more sites run 45×15 ft, and site 8 is a 40×15 ft concrete pad right on the river. All 18 have 30/50 amp, water, and sewer.
Shift-friendly
Quiet hours 10 PM – 7 AM, 5 MPH speed limit, no through traffic. Trash service runs Tuesdays. Shower house with hot showers and coin laundry on site, so you are not driving into town after shift.
No office to catch
There is no check-in window to make. Text Jay at (580) 716-0788 when you get in and when you head out. Late arrival after a night shift is fine — just text ahead.

Electric included. Military and veteran discount — Rivershire is veteran-owned. Passport America and Good Sam accepted. Guests must stay in a proper camping unit; the park does not permit car camping or permanent residency.
Questions Crews Ask
Do you take stays shorter than a month?
Yes. Standard sites are $35 a night or $210 a week, so a two- or three-week outage does not force you into a monthly commitment. Monthly is $600 if the job runs long.
Can you fit a big rig?
Site 18 is a 45×12 ft pull-through on a concrete pad — the only pull-through in the park and the easiest site for a large rig. Sites 10, 11, 12, 15, 16 and 17 are 45×15 ft back-ins. Site 8 is a 40×15 ft concrete pad on the riverfront.
How do I check in if I arrive after a night shift?
There is no office to catch before it closes. Text Jay at (580) 716-0788 when you arrive and when you leave. Check-in runs 12 PM to 6 PM, check-out is 11 AM, and late arrivals are fine if you text ahead.
Is electric metered separately?
No. Electric is included in the rate at every site, with 30 and 50 amp service, water, and sewer at all 18 sites.
Can a whole crew book together?
Call or text and we will work out the sites together rather than having everyone book blind online. Each site allows up to 8 people and 2 non-recreational vehicles.
Will I be able to sleep during the day between shifts?
Quiet hours run 10 PM to 7 AM and are strictly observed, the speed limit is 5 MPH, and the park is set back from the road with no through traffic. It is a small park — 18 sites — not a busy transient stopover.
